Origins 2007 Art Show Report
The 2007 edition of the Origins Art Show was an explosion of fantasy and science fiction artistry, and everyone who missed it will have a slightly less fantastic life as a result. In an attempt to minimize — or even reverse — their slide into mundanity, here are some of the awards presented to the most compelling works:

‘Zombie’ Pandemic Hits Washington DC
While I work in our nation’s capital, I live in an extreme suburb over 30 miles away. This usually means a crowded commute of over one hour each way, but this morning started out a little light.

Can Star Trek be Relevant Again?
The Star Trek Movie Report has frightening, exciting news about a new Star Trek animated series in early development. A run of 6-minute episodes destined for the web is being considered by CBS. But fanboys everywhere are up in arms over the bold decision to rejoin the Federation 150 years after Picard and his crew were last seen in Nemesis.

Origins 2006 Art Show Report
This year’s Origins Art Show just wrapped up, and you couldn’t swing a dead pokemon without hitting many awe-inspiring fantasy art pieces. Artist Guest of Honor Steve Prescott’s “Tiamat†was voted Dragon Magazine’s best cover, and judges picked their favorites:
