Fanciful Cuteness

Siobhan Brewer

A chibi Motoko Kusinagi, a cybernetic woman with lavender leggins and corset daintily stands.
a cute mermaid wraps her arms around an underwater deer creature.
Portal's Chell enjoys a cup of tea while falling between portals.
A koala Luke Skywalker walks through the swamp planet Dagobah with a koala Yoda on his back.

Transforming the familiar into something strange and new is perhaps the most challenging task for any illustrator, yet Siobhan Brewer can be seen accomplishing this arduous enchantment with alarming regularity on her blog. Both original creations and familiar favorites are rendered with a stunning degree of style and charm.

You’ll find Ghost in the Shell‘s Motoko Kusanagi and Portal‘s Chell never more cuter than in Ms. Brewer’s gallery, and Luke and Yoda as koalas are truly near lethal levels of lovability. And certainly a mermaid and sea-horse hugging is the very image of deep-sea cuddliness.

Whenever you need a bit of the whimsical in your life, Siobhan and her imaginative images are certain to deliver.
