Playful Fantasy Horror

Patricio Marcelo Balanovsky

A dour looking man with large white wings in a hoodie smokes a cigarette.
An sexy yet industrial robot woman closes her eyes.
A muscular man with glowing eyes and intricate tattoos stands ready.

They could be the most whimsical horrors to ever see the light of day, or perhaps they’re simply maniacal cartoons gone terribly wrong? Either way, Patri Balanovsky‘s eclectic collections of character designs are truly unforgettable.

A constant, deadly parade of muscular men, weapon-slinging women, and voracious aliens spring forth from Mr. Balanovsky tortured imagination, but they all possess a clarity of purpose and a thin, shining thread of childlike innocence. These moody characters hail from all dark walks of life, but seemingly share a powerful desire for combat and conquest.

Whoever appears next in Patri’s panoply of peculiarities, rest assured that he, she or it will be both playfully wicked, and grimly amusing.
