Photography is frowned upon at my client site, but I forgot that for a few moments when I saw this bizarre cloud coverage. Thankfully, the uniformed gentleman who stopped to admire my work knew a great picture when he saw one.
I guess USPS stickers get used for a lot of street art because they’re mostly blank and easy to swipe. Usually, it’s a simple tag, but every now and then they get a little more… arty.
Why does this basement crawl space have a room number? Is mail delivered here? Are meetings being held behind that metal door? Does it have a phone extension too? So many questions.
I once had a yellow piece of flair that proclaimed “Have a Day” with an iconic face that neither frowned or smiled. I like to think that — like the artist that painted these simple eyes and horizontal mouth in a vacant lot — I was helping to spread a little apathy in the world.
