I can’t imagine the series of events that led up to this incredibly specific damage to the car’s license plate and bumper. Can you?

Sky looked ominously pretty, so I stopped at a housing development to take a few shots. This big sign was in the way, but I went with it. It was either that or walk 10 feet.

For a complete recreation, it was a bit theme-parky, but this shot might have been taken 400 years ago.

Heading back from southwestern Virginia, we drove through a lot of farm country. I was surprised to find this shot in the camera.

Much of I-64 is beautiful, but the most beautiful spots seem to have evolved around predetermined rest stops along the highway.
