We were catching up on our television, when the phone rang. Sure, it was a toy phone, but since the kids were sleeping, it was still odd. After a quick scan of the room, we discovered the source of the ringing: Lou was using the toy phone as a pillow. The impromptu headrest made a few more cries for help, but the cat never stirred.

A small park in our neighborhood is next to a stream that’s somehow managed to survive among the landscaping and development. The bank was slippery, unpredictable and a little dangerous. Extra points for finding the corner I had to clone to get the framing right.
