I guess USPS stickers get used for a lot of street art because they’re mostly blank and easy to swipe. Usually, it’s a simple tag, but every now and then they get a little more… arty.

The Acursive One

I almost didn’t photograph this car. There were more visually interesting tags on the train, but as it began rolling, I felt the need to document my confusion with this particular collection. I saw the ADM logo, the stars of David, the bizarre title, the positive affirmations,  the crossed out “classic” tag…. Even now, still seems hard to really understand how many hands were at work here — which are standalone signatures, and which are commentaries on the others.

This guy seemed almost happy to be skewered by a strip of film. I still don’t know what it means, though. On the NW corner of Western Avenue and N Harvard Street in Brighton.
