A large tree fell the right way on my parent’s property, taking out another equally large tree next to it. After taking lots of pictures of the wreckage, I noticed this single leaf stuck in a long spiderweb.

Beach erosion and unusually high tides most likely created this small bay/lake/whatever, but most folks at the beach didn’t bother to cross it before dropping their chairs, buckets and umbrellas.

The picture had a nice short field of focus, but I pushed it in photoshop, plus blew out the light a bit. A little ghostly, and about as close to the spirit of Easter as I’ll prolly ever get.

While walking the beach at Assateague, I saw a lawn chair near a small sandcastle. Hilarity ensued.

After taking some photos with a 60 second exposure, the stars kept coming out blurry, even when the other objects turned out fine. I eventually determined the problem was the Earth’s rotation, so no fix is forthcoming.
