I don’t normally do staged shots, unless I think I’ll be really hilarious. Ideally, this would have been something sillier like a teddy bear or bobble head, but none of that stuff was handy. Nevertheless, this somehow met my hilarity threshold.

The Acursive One

I almost didn’t photograph this car. There were more visually interesting tags on the train, but as it began rolling, I felt the need to document my confusion with this particular collection. I saw the ADM logo, the stars of David, the bizarre title, the positive affirmations,  the crossed out “classic” tag…. Even now, still seems hard to really understand how many hands were at work here — which are standalone signatures, and which are commentaries on the others.
