Vulcan, Elfin, or Just Plain Evil?
Just to show that the western world doesn’t have a lock on obsessive fandom, a young man living in the Nanjing province of China recently underwent cosmetic surgery to obtain “alien-like pointy ears.”
The Ananova article assumes he wanted to look like Mr. Spock, but he could have just as easily been shooting for a Romulan, an Elf, or perhaps Mr. Spock’s supposed inspiration: the Devil himself.
