Synthetic Steampunk

A woman with long blond hair wearing blue armor stands
A green-skinned woman with a large horned helmet and bladed armor stands
A woman with short black hair and abbreviated armor holds a large tattered pennant.
A pale woman with large white wings and golden armor stands.
A woman with black hair and a Russian hat stands in bulky red armor.
A red-haired woman wearing metal and leather armor wields a large sword next to a steam engine.

Can you imagine the improbable fusion of post-industrial Victorian England and a mechanized, war-strewn future? Matt Wilson can. His paintings portray brooding bronze behemoths and sultry steampunk sweeties with equal proficiency.

Matt’s artwork also leads to other, more traditional fantasy destinations as well, but who would’ve thought that a world crowded with mechanized mammoths and retro robots would be so alluring?
